Preparation and photocatalytic properties of Bi<sub>2</sub>MO<sub>6</sub> (M =W, Mo) semiconductor composite TiO<sub>2</sub> nanowires

Abstract Photocatalytic degradation of pollutants using nano-TiO 2 is one the most promising strategies to solve environmental pollution problems. In this paper, we systematically studied Bi WO 6 composited TiO nanowires obtain optimum composite proportion. Moreover, were with MoO and / in proportion, respectively. The results showed that had best catalytic performance, rate methyl orange reached 78.4%, which was 3.41 times higher than pure nanowires. current work expected provide new ideas for research development high-efficiency photocatalytic materials.
